U-ROCK® NETWORK · AFFILIATE STUDIO LADDER

Build Your Station From Where You Are

You do not need a tower, a $50,000 console or a commercial building to become part of U-ROCK®.

You need a reliable connection, a clean sound, something worth putting on the air and the willingness to build a real relationship with your local music community.

U-ROCK® helps broadcasters start at the level that makes sense today — and grow when their programming, audience and local support are ready.

Start as a Presenter

Already have a show — or an idea that belongs on the air?

A quiet room, reliable computer, good microphone, wired headphones and stable Internet may be enough to begin. We help you test your audio, connect to the assigned station and learn the live handoff.

This is the right entry point for DJs, specialty-show hosts, interviewers and music people who want to prove their program before operating an entire station.

Build a Home Affiliate Station

A spare bedroom, basement room or home office can become a serious broadcast space.

A home affiliate station adds a dedicated broadcast computer, professional playout software, a mixer or audio interface, additional microphones and proper monitoring. From there, the operator can develop local programming, conduct interviews, work with artists and begin building relationships with venues, community organizations and advertisers.

The room does not need to look expensive. It needs to work reliably.

U-ROCK® helps with the station connection, equipment planning, configuration, testing, training and launch process. We begin with what you already own and recommend only what is actually missing.

Grow Into a Community Studio

A storefront, office, arts space or shared community location becomes valuable when people need somewhere to gather, record, interview, advertise and participate.

This is not the required starting point. It is the next step for an affiliate that has demonstrated reliable programming, community activity and a realistic local revenue path.

A community studio can support:

The station begins at home. The public studio arrives when the market earns it.

Already Have a Professional Studio?

Keep what works.

Our Melbourne affiliate has already gone live using its own professional equipment through the U-ROCK® connection. An established broadcaster does not need to throw out its console, automation or workflow to join the network.

We test the existing output, configure the connection and bring the station into the network without rebuilding a functioning studio.

What U-ROCK® Brings

U-ROCK® is more than somewhere to send an audio stream.

We help develop an operating local station with a market identity, network connection, technical onboarding, programming relationships, artist discovery, community content and a path toward local advertising and sponsorship.

You control the local sound and relationships. You are connected to people building the same thing in other markets.
